I think it is important to not judge a person with a tattoo, even if you may think it is wrong. Essentially it is between the person and God! And what better way to demonstrate true love for others (loving them even through disagreements)!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07850379654058917941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4807180913108287708.post-18980490413383792592011-02-20T13:52:15.584-05:002011-02-20T13:52:15.584-05:00Very cool and clear thoughts on a controversial to...Very cool and clear thoughts on a controversial topic! It reminds me daily in a physical tangible reminder that Joy is what I'm looking for in life, and in the years to come when my mother is no longer here on earth with me it will be a daily reminder of my mother, a woman who lifted me up and wanted only the best for me. A woman who glorifies God and daily prays that His will, will be done in my life.

It's absolutely a personal choice, for me it was about discovering that I couldn't live without the tattoo, not finding something that I could just live with :)PJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12352408176906314334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4807180913108287708.post-2647211663153028972011-02-19T09:32:12.034-05:002011-02-19T09:32:12.034-05:00Carmen- I love that verse! You answered this beautifully.

I think it's interesting to think, though, that for some- tattoos may make you more approachable to people who aren't Christians. It may actually HELP your witness. I remember sitting on the DC Metro one summer and just sort of thinking, "Holy cow, I am on the DC Metro...alone." And when I looked to my left, I saw the bicep of this very large man sitting next to me with a cross tattoo that said, "Resting in the shadow of the lord" or something like that...I don't know if he was a Christian or not, but it certainly made me feel better.

Bravo for such a great answer!Holly https://www.blogger.com/profile/00206322571532656042noreply@blogger.com
