Advertise on Life Blessons: Now Accepting Sponsors

Life Blessons has grown so much since I first started writing it back in the winter of 2009. What started as a blog that was read only by a handful of friends and family is now read by thousands of folks every month, touching hearts with stories of faith, encouraging adventures in the kitchen with recipes, offering up tried-and-true tips to make your life a little easier and just plain living life together through post after post.

Thanks to that growth, I’m now making the next step to expand the blog, which is to open up sidebar advertising options to anyone who has a blog or Etsy shop or small business you want to promote.

Life Blessons receives more than 35,000 pageviews every month (with that number growing, month after month) and more than 1,000 subscribers. On social media, Life Blessons has more than 1,500 fans and followers across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google Friend Connect. Plus, I’m always looking for ways to get the word out about my blog and find new readers.

In a nutshell? There are lots of people who visit this blog every day and week and month, which means lots of opportunities for them to find out about your product and pay your site a visit.

Two Years Ago Today, I Started Life Blessons...

Today, this little blog of mine turns two years old.

I started this blog with the vague notion that I wanted a means for sharing what I was learning in my life with other people. I’ve always been a lover of deep, thought-provoking blogs and I felt that it was time for me to give back and put up a little home of my own in blogland.

And so, in the midst of posts about food and decorating and random life events, are those posts about my heart and my soul and the things that God is doing deep inside of me. Those are the reasons that I write this blog, even though those posts might only come a few times a month.

That's because those are the only words I say that might actually change someone’s life and matter. They have the power to possibly push someone closer to God, to push them into his arms. And then, with all the recipes and tutorials in the world, I say, It was worth it, because of that.

It’s been two years now that I’ve been publishing Life Blessons, week after week.

I had no idea then what this little corner of the internet would turn into. I feel like now, I’ve just started to get into a groove here. I’ve found my place.

And I’ve managed to stick around long enough to see the beauty it has wrought in lives around the globe. Here are some of the kind words that I’ve received over these past two years from people who have happened upon my blog:

Blog Housekeeping Update: New Navigation Menu for Easier Browsing

Just a quick note to let you know that earlier this week I did a little cleaning around the blog, which included adding a new navigation bar along the top with (oh la la) a drop-down menus for different categories.

So now, if you want to dig into all the posts I've written about, say my marriage, you can hover over the "Love + Marriage" tab and a few different options will pop up, one of which will take you to posts about my marriage or posts that record the little whirlwind love story between my husband and I.

Other categories include posts about my life, my faith, my home, stuff I've made and a hearty helping of miscellaneous items from blogging tips to what I've read recently. If you want to go exploring through them, just visit the homepage and click around to your heart's desire!
